The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly professional and skilled Compensation & Benefits Specialist. Are you  detail-oriented and analytical? Do you thrive in an international and future thinking organisation? You will work in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels and be part of the People, Talent & Culture section, reporting directly to the Compensation & Benefits Manager. The People, Talent & Culture section is comprised of 10 internal and external staff.

  • Lead compensation and benefits projects from design to implementation.

  • Ensure strong stakeholder engagement and effective change management during projects.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on workforce and compensation topics.

  • Develop, implement and maintain compensation and benefits policies and procedures.

  • Manage salary bands, bonuses, insurances and cafeteria plan.

  • Oversee employee participation and communication for the cafeteria plan.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant compensation and benefits regulations and legislation.

  • Monitor new legal requirements and implement necessary updates.

  • Communicate clearly with employees, managers and stakeholders on compensation and benefits matters.

  • Implement, administer and maintain the organisation’s rewards policy.

  • Ensure organisation-wide adherence to compensation and rewards policies.

  • Collaborate with the People, Talent & Culture team to align HR strategies.

  • Share best practices and knowledge with HR colleagues.

  • Manage daily administration of benefits in collaboration with external brokers.

  • Evaluate and improve current compensation and benefits practices.

  • Propose innovative solutions and take a hands-on approach.

  • Handle resource planning for the Secretariat and TSO contributions.

  • Conduct compensation and benefits analysis and support annual review process.

  • Provide recommendations for HR budget and resource management.

  • Perform internal and external benchmarking to align with organisational goals.

  • Act as point of contact for complex employee questions on compensation and benefits.

  • Support employee awareness of HR policies and benefits.

  • Manage compensation and benefits communication channels, including intranet and emails.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Tax or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits.

  • Knowledge of the Belgian labour market and benefits is required.

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).

  • Power BI knowledge is a strong asset.

  • Strong project management skills and ownership mindset.

  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Service-oriented and committed to delivering value.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French and/or Dutch.

  • Fast learner with ability to adapt to change.

  • Able to work independently and in a team with deadlines.

  • Proactive and results-driven attitude.
