The Human Resources Advisor supports the HR Manager and HR Director, but is also in direct contact with the business, offering assistance on payroll/admin, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and well-being, while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organizational standards. This role ensures consistent application of HR policies, supports effective employee relations, and fosters a positive, inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
HR Support & Collaboration
Act as local HR contact for managers and employees with HR-related questions
Liaise daily with HR Manager and HR Director for updates and issue follow-up
Payroll & Administration
Encode and check worked days, absences, and medical certificates for payroll
Process salary documents like contracts, holiday attestations, and career interruptions
Assist managers with staff calendars and time registration system updates
Verify temporary workers’ services and related invoices
Employee Administration
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for new employees and leavers
Follow up on social documentation like insurances, family events, and medical certificates
Update employee database and HR software (eBlox) daily with accurate information
Provide compensation and benefits documents for onboarding and HR files
HR Systems & Records
Manage HRIS system, keep digital employee records updated, and train system users
Maintain personnel files in both hard and digital formats
File and archive HR documents securely for compliance and quick retrieval
Recruitment, Training & Development
Support recruitment, liaise with providers, invite candidates, and strengthen employer branding
Monitor performance appraisal process and ensure 100% completion in HR software
Administer training plans and ensure employee development opportunities are tracked
Reporting & Projects
Track HR KPIs and prepare reports for management, group, and works council
Support HR Director and Manager with administrative tasks and meeting preparation
Keep HR policies updated and accessible across internal channels
Lead or support HR projects, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability initiatives
Compliance & Workplace Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Support a positive employee experience through clear, professional HR services
Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace
Follow ergonomic best practices, use protective equipment, and report risks
Bachelor’s degree in HR, social sciences, law, or equivalent professional experience
Clean certificate of good conduct required for work on airport sites
Experience in HR departments or equivalent through education is an asset
Strong knowledge of social legislation and HR regulations
Excellent communication skills to positively represent ASL Aviation Holdings
Fluent in French, Dutch, and English, both written and spoken; business correspondence skills required
Additional language skills are a plus
Strong customer focus with strict respect for confidentiality
Display positive, open, and cooperative behavior to maintain good internal and external relationships
Rigorous, precise, well-organized, solution-oriented, and proactive approach to work
Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously
Highly responsive to customer queries and needs
