The Zaventem office is Warner Bros.’s local TV‑production hub in Belgium, delivering both local adaptations and in‑house Belgian programming.

About the Job

Join the Warner Bros. Belgium Group as a key finance partner, helping with all aspects of controllership. You’ll work closely with local management, production accountants and wider production teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

• Lead monthly close process, working closely with production accountants and external service providers.

• Manage month-end tasks: intercompany charges, accruals, post-production entries, and cost centre reconciliations.

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations; explain key variances to senior finance stakeholders.

• Ensure correct accounting and tax treatment for accruals, bonuses, leases, stock options, and assets.

• Oversee statutory financial statements and serve as the main contact for external audits.

• Coordinate with service providers for tax filings and ensure full compliance with Belgian tax regulations.

• Monitor outsourced accounting services (SDC), including AP/AR, cash clearing, and intercompany transactions.

• Manage SAP processes locally: production interfaces, data quality, and master data upkeep.

• Provide accurate local inputs for WBD’s quarterly, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Support finance system upgrades (SAP S/4HANA, e-invoicing), ensuring compliance with US and Belgian GAAP.

Your Profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.

• Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.

• Experience leading full audit processes is essential.

• Advanced Excel skills; confident with other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP; US GAAP is a plus.

• Experience preparing statutory financial statements and Belgian regulatory reports.

• Skilled in both direct and indirect tax compliance.

• Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

• Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks.

• Team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Experience working with outsourced partners and matrix organizations preferred.

• Industry experience in media, production, or client-service environments is desirable.

• Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP, Navision, or Just Produce.

• Background in a professional accounting firm is a strong advantage.
