The HR Generalist oversees, supports and manages the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to departure, in close collaboration with key stakeholders (business, HR BP, EHS, employees).
Define and execute training plans aligned with company strategy and workforce needs.
Monitor skill development and optimize learning programs continuously.
Foster a positive, inspiring work environment that supports open social dialogue.
Manage and resolve individual and collective workplace conflicts effectively.
Promote employee well-being initiatives to boost morale and engagement.
Champion Imerys’ core values to strengthen culture and employee commitment.
Optimize local compensation policies for fairness and competitive market positioning.
Align salary and benefits with industry standards and internal benchmarks.
Serve as main HR contact for managers on team leadership, promotions, and career growth.
Guide resource management and enhance team performance and efficiency.
Support operational HR policy implementation directly at the site level.
Facilitate social dialogue among management, employees, and labor representatives.
Manage Works Council and Union Delegation communications and meetings.
Draft, update, and ensure compliance of Collective Labor Agreements (CLAs).
Develop social relations strategies aligned with Imerys’ business goals.
Maintain and improve HR policies to reflect legal and strategic changes.
Implement streamlined HR procedures for consistency and operational efficiency.
Provide backup support for payroll and related HR processes.
Higher education qualification, such as a short program or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HR or industrial role.
Experience working in an industrial environment is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with adaptability to changing situations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and consistently available for team support.
Demonstrates responsibility, initiative, and effective priority management.
Critical thinker with a solution-oriented and proactive mindset.
Works autonomously while embracing a collaborative team spirit.
Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion at all times.
Strictly complies with workplace safety regulations and standards.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with E-Blox and Protime systems is an asset.
Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
