The Head of Employee Relations is a key member of the Ressources humaines team, managing employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Employee & Labor Relations
Join HR projects with strong impact on social consultation or labor law in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Act as a trusted HR partner for managers and HRBPs, driving fresh approaches to social dialogue and strategy.
Support and organize smooth social consultations with unions and work councils in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
Guide business leaders during formal and informal social consultations with clear advice and structured participation.
Lead the negotiation, preparation, and implementation of collective labor agreements and internal employment rules.
Build employee engagement strategies during times of business, cultural, and HR transformation.
Provide advice and consistent policies for fair and transparent disciplinary processes.
Social, Labor & Fiscal Law Expertise
Stay informed on labor and tax law changes through regular legal monitoring in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
Ensure HR policies and procedures meet all legal labor and tax requirements.
Advise managers and HR teams on employment law issues using your expertise and external legal benchmarks.
Manage employee-related legal claims and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Run internal audits to check legal compliance across HR operations.
Employee Benefits
Lead benefits projects to improve the employee experience and support HR goals.
Review and recommend updates to benefit plans based on employee needs, market data, and cost analysis.
Policy Development and Compliance
Create and update HR policies to reflect legal requirements and best practices.
Communicate HR policies clearly and ensure all employees understand and follow them.
Apply HR policies consistently across teams and departments to ensure fairness.
Communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization.
Build strong relationships using empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
Handle sensitive and confidential matters with complete discretion and trust.
Adapt your work style across different cultures and countries, especially in the Benelux region.
Collaborate with corporate teams while respecting local practices and expectations.
