About the Job

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Belgium. As manager of the local finance team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the local finance functions and supporting the operations throughout the region.

  • Take full responsibility for financial accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and monthly account preparation.

  • Supervise accounting operations and support the ASSC team while collaborating with FP&A on performance analysis.

  • Ensure timely cash collection, monitor DSO, and maintain healthy accounts receivable with local PM/Sales teams.

  • Strengthen collaboration and communication between local team and ASSC to ensure accurate financial operations.

  • Manage all local tax filings and regulatory declarations in compliance with Belgian law.

  • Lead annual audits in Belgium and provide support for group-level audits.

  • Manage and develop the local finance team, promoting Acolad values and leadership culture.

  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, efficiency, and growth within the organization.

  • Review systems, processes, and reporting to minimize losses, enhance controls, and boost profitability.

  • Maintain, monitor, and implement internal controls aligned with Group policies and procedures.

  • Provide financial insights to local leadership and contribute actively in key strategic meetings.

  • Participate in Group projects and ad hoc assignments to support organizational goals.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.

  • Over 5 years of proven professional experience in finance roles.

  • Preferably started career in an audit firm for foundational expertise.

  • Experience in financial control within an international group is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Solid understanding of audit processes and procedures.

  • Autonomous, proactive, and a collaborative team-player.

  • Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing workloads.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Good accounting knowledge and financial reporting capabilities.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint for professional presentations.

  • Working knowledge of SAP for finance operations.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.
