We currently have a requirement for a Contracts Administrator Manager for construction projects in Belgium. The successful candidate will be equally capable of working independently or as part of a larger team and will report directly to the Project Director.
Contribute to the Contract Strategy Plan aligning with client requirements, project scope, contract conditions, and design deliverables.
Support procurement and tendering of contract work packages.
Assign packages to Contract Administrators for procurement through to award.
Ensure contract documents are fully executed, returned to correct parties, and properly retained for reference.
Confirm all contracts are in place before construction commences.
Collaborate with the Construction Manager to manage contracts per procedures, schedule, and budget.
Ensure Construction Management team and Package Owners understand contract obligations and provisions.
Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations.
Maintain proper documentation to support audits and project accountability.
Obtain and maintain an up-to-date register of contractor insurance certificates.
Implement Site Work Instructions and Site Variation Orders procedures effectively.
Review and issue Payment Certificates in line with client and contract requirements.
Ensure Contract Administrators hold monthly commercial meetings with contractors.
Assist with Final Account agreement and issue the final certificate.
Support monthly cost reporting for inclusion in the Construction Report.
Execute contract close-out procedures efficiently.
Issue Practical Completion Certificates to all contractors.
Ensure contractors execute Form of Release and confirm completion.
Issue Final Completion Certificates to each respective contractor.
Safely archive all project records following completion.
Educated to degree level, with additional professional qualifications considered desirable.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract administration.
Proven ability to support project implementation and develop contractual strategies for large-scale projects.
Experience managing multiple projects in Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical, and Data Centres sectors.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to deliver accurate work on project deadlines.
Good command of both English and Dutch languages.
