About the Job

The Mastercard Europe Finance team is currently hiring a candidate to support the Belux Cluster (Belgium & Luxembourg) at Mastercard. The Manager, Finance Business Partner plays a key role in assessing the financial impact of strategic and market development activities for the cluster and act as important financial advisor and business partner.

• Oversee diverse finance activities as a generalist for the Belux cluster and participate in country management teams.

• Manage P&L and analyze financial performance, advising management on risks, opportunities, and business decisions.

• Lead and coordinate Forecast, Budget, and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes at the market level.

• Support Account Managers in deal preparation, customer visits, deal tracking, and ensure correct accounting treatment.

• Promote controllership excellence by training business teams on updated accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

• Collaborate with regions, business units, and European Finance to evaluate and validate new business opportunities.

• Create regular financial reports to keep management informed about business and financial performance.

• Build strong partnerships with WE Finance teams, Country Managers, Account Managers, and European Finance colleagues.

Your Profile

• Hold a university degree in Finance or a related field.

• Have strong professional experience with relevant business or finance qualifications.

• Possess broad knowledge and experience across multiple finance areas.

• Understand Mastercard’s business model and overall market dynamics, including competitors.

• Demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills for senior management coaching and training.

• Successfully manage global complex reporting: monthly results, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.

• Experienced with financial systems like Hyperion and Oracle; advanced Excel and strong writing skills.

• Able to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Team player who is analytical, results-driven, flexible, and adaptable.

• Well-organized, structured, and efficient under pressure with tight deadlines.

• Fluent in English; Dutch and French language skills are a plus.
