About the Job

As an Employee Benefits Consultant in our team, you will have the opportunity to practice your knowledge and develop your skills in both the pension fund and the group insurance market in Belgium. The client relationship building will be an important aspect of your daily job.

• Perform actuarial valuations for corporate reporting, including US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory pension fund funding studies.

• Manage daily pension fund operations, reporting, and regulatory compliance for optimal governance.

• Execute key pension fund functions, including actuarial function holder and risk manager responsibilities.

• Conduct plan design and redesign studies with actuarial modeling, implementation, and employee communication.

• Perform benefit audits and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive and compliant offerings.

• Develop asset/liability modeling studies to optimize pension fund financial performance.

• Lead employee communication exercises for clear, effective pension and benefits messaging.

• Support Merger & Acquisition studies, including pension impact assessments and integration strategies.

Your Profile

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Economics preferred; other qualifications considered based on skills and experience.

• Minimum 5 years relevant employee benefits experience in Belgian market, consulting, insurance, brokerage, or financial institutions.

• Motivated to work in an international company with dynamic, cross-border teams.

• Strong English proficiency, complemented by Dutch or French for effective communication.

• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office, for efficient reporting and analysis.

• Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with excellent communication and flexible problem-solving abilities.

• Collaborative team player who thrives in shared goal-oriented environments.
